Poster Guideline

Poster Size
The dimensions of poster board is 95cm (wide) x 195cm (high), please prepare your poster to fit into the poster board. All posters need to be mounted by tapes.

Poster Set Up
Please set up your poster before Oct. 15, 14:00, and remove by Oct. 18,19:00 Tapes for poster mounting will be provided in the poster area. In case you could not mount your poster by that time. Please make sure to mount your poster between breaks of lecture sessions before your presentation time.

Poster Presentation
You must present your work beside the poster board during the assigned presentation session.

Call for Abstracts

Individuals wishing to present during the course of the Conference must submit their abstracts in advance as a requirement for acceptance. Please submit your abstracts electronically at the 16th ISMAR Website.

Conditions for Submission of Abstract
Submission deadline for abstracts is May 31, 2007. Each contributor is requested to submit a short abstract with a maximum length of 300 words. In addition to a short abstract, a two-page long abstract is required for an oral presentation and/or Young Investigator Award. All abstracts are subjected to review by the scientific committee of the ISMAR 2007, which will be responsible for making the final decision. The authors will be informed by June 30, 2007.

Abstract Presentation
All of the accepted abstracts will be selected for either oral or poster presentations. Those whishing to make oral presentations should indicate their preference in the Submission System. The applicant's preference will be considered as a priority but the final determination of the type of presentation will be made by the Scientific Committee.
Note: Each contributor will be asked to prepare the poster on-site, even if selected for oral presentation.

ISMAR Young Investigator Award

ISMAR is pleased to announce the new ISMAR Young Investigator Award. Researchers under 41 years of age on August 31, 2007 are eligible. The Award will be based on a single research achievement, and the winner will be selected from poster submissions to ISMAR-2007. Based on submitted abstracts, four finalists will be selected to present their work in a plenary session of short (10-15 minute) presentations, with the winner selected on the basis of the oral presentation. The title ISMAR Young Investigator Award Finalist will be awarded to all four candidates selected. The winner of the contest will also receive a US$500 monetary award, sponsored by Spectra Gases. A young researcher who wishes to participate in the ISMAR Young Investigator Contest should so indicate when submitting a poster abstract.
